  1. بطرفة العين بارينا يغير ما

    بعبده من شديد الخطب والحرج

    In the blink of an eye, our Maker changes what

    Afflicts His servant—dire calamity and distress.

  2. وقبل ردة طرف العين من كرم

    يقلب الأمر من ضيق إلى فرج

    And before the eye’s glance returns, out of generosity,

    He turns the situation from hardship to relief.
