I sought refuge at the door of the great Prophet, the

I sought refuge at the door of the great noble Prophet

majestic, the zealous, the beloved Messenger.

The magnificent, zealous, beloved Messenger

وحققت أني وصلت المرا

وحققت أني وصلت المرا

م بنصر عزيز وفتحٍ قريب

م بنصر عزيز وفتحٍ قريب

And I knew for certain that I had reached my goal

And I realized that I have reached the goal

through mighty aid and a victory near at hand.

With mighty victory and imminent opening

نعم هو راعي ذمام الغريب

نعم هو راعي ذمام الغريب

وسلم وصل القريب المجيب

وسلم وصل القريب المجيب

Indeed, he guards the stranger's right to protection,

Yes, he is the shepherd of the stranger’s reigns

And is a ladder to communion with the Near, the Responsive,

And the connector of relations, the respondent to the near

وكاشف كرب الضعيف الذليل

وكاشف كرب الضعيف الذليل

وناصر جاه الحسيب النسيب

وناصر جاه الحسيب النسيب

And dispeller of the distress of the weak and lowly,

And the remover of the distress of the weak and lowly

And defender of the standing of the noble, the well-born.

And the supporter of the eminent kinsman

عليه الصلاة وأزكى السلام

من المستهام الحقير الكئيب

من المستهام الحقير الكئيب

Upon him be blessings and the purest peace,

Blessings and most pure peace be upon him

From the love-stricken, lowly, sorrowful one.

From the remorseful, despicable, mournful one
