تدارك رسول اللَه بالستر والرضى

فأنت الذي ترجى إذا راعنا القضا

فأنت الذي ترجى إذا راعنا القضا

Come to our aid, O Messenger of God, with concealment of our faults and favor.

The Messenger of Allah sought to cover up with kindness and consent

For you are the one we look to in hope when fate frightens us.

For you are the one hoped for when we encounter destiny

ولاحظ بدفع الكرب عنا ترحما

ولاحظ بدفع الكرب عنا ترحما

وقل زمن الكرب الذي راعكم مضى

وقل زمن الكرب الذي راعكم مضى

And look upon us compassionately, driving distress away from us.

And take care to ward off hardship from us out of mercy

And say, 'The time of distress that frightened you has passed.'

And say the time of hardship which distressed you has passed

وخذنا بذيل العفو واجبر قلوبنا

وخذنا بذيل العفو واجبر قلوبنا

بعز مقيم لا يحاوله انقضا

بعز مقيم لا يحاوله انقضا

And take us by the hem of pardon, and mend our hearts

And take us by the hem of pardon and mend our hearts

with abiding honor that no ending can assail.

With lasting honor not encroached upon by decline

وسامح بعين الصفح واعتق تفضلاً

وسامح بعين الصفح واعتق تفضلاً

عبيداً ضعيفاً وزره ضيق الفضا

عبيداً ضعيفاً وزره ضيق الفضا

And forgive with the eye of pardon, and graciously set free

And forgive with an eye of amnesty and emancipate graciously

a weak little servant whose sin has narrowed the wide expanse.

Weak servants whose burden is the narrowness of scope

فأنت هو المندوب في كل مدهش

فأنت هو المندوب في كل مدهش

وأنت لدى الرحمن خير من ارتضى

وأنت لدى الرحمن خير من ارتضى

For you are the very one called upon in every bewildering ordeal,

For you are the one deputized in every disturbing event

and before the All-Merciful, you are the best of those He has chosen.

And with the Merciful you are the best of those chosen

أغث يا نصير العاجزين برحمةٍ

أغث يا نصير العاجزين برحمةٍ

وكن ناصراً عوناً على من تعرضا

وكن ناصراً عوناً على من تعرضا

Come to our aid, O helper of the helpless, with mercy,

Relieve O supporter of the helpless with mercy

and be a champion and helper against whoever assails us.

And be a victorious, helping defender against those who transgress

عليك صلاة اللَه ما أظلم الدجا

عليك صلاة اللَه ما أظلم الدجا

وما لاح نور الشمس والبرق أومضا

وما لاح نور الشمس والبرق أومضا

May God's blessing be upon you whenever night grows dark,

Upon you is Allah's prayer as long as night grows dark

and whenever the sun's light shines forth and lightning flashes.

And as long as the light of sun and flashing lightning illuminate
