Drink and make a young man drink, one who accompanies the antelope,
Or a soul with many folds,
And great souls disdain to drink with any but the great.
In the company of youth we pitch tents,
Adorned with branches and moons,
And make our prayer-niche the ear of lute players,
And hearken to the melody of strings,
Amid folk whose priest prostrates himself to the wine-cup
Or bows down over the pipe.
