  1. ليشْ يا بديعَ الجمالْ

    عذبتَ مَنْ يهواكْ

    Why, O beautiful one,

    Have you tortured those who love you?

  2. أرَّقتْ طيفَ الخيالْ

    عاشقْ فلا ينساكْ

    You have kept the specter of fantasy awake,

    A lover who cannot forget you.

  3. اعطف وجُدْ برضاك

    نَقْنَع نرى مَنْ يراكْ

    Show mercy and be pleased,

    We are content to see the one who sees you.

  4. النومُ عني نفرْ

    من شدةِ البينِ

    Sleep has fled from me,

    Due to the intensity of separation.

  5. محبوبُ قلبي هجرْ

    ما كانَ ذا ظني

    The beloved of my heart abandoned me,

    Something I never suspected.

  6. مُدْ إِليّا نظرْ

    فصلْ الربيع أقبل

    Turn your gaze towards me,

    Spring has arrived.

  7. نقطعْ رؤوسَ النوارْ

    وعلى المليح ننزلْ

    We slaughter the leaders of carpets,

    And descend upon the beautiful one.

  8. من بعد شطِ الديارْ

    ومالي مَنْ نُرسلْ

    After crossing the riverlands,

    Who do I have to send?

  9. النومُ عني نفرْ

    من شدةِ البينِ

    Sleep has fled from me,

    Due to the intensity of separation.

  10. محبوبُ قلبي هجرْ

    ما كانَ ذا ظني

    The beloved of my heart abandoned me,

    Something I never suspected.

  11. يا رب صلي على

    الهاشمي الأمجدْ

    O Lord, bless

    The glorious Hashimi,

  12. مَنْ ارتقى للعلا

    واسمه أحمدْ

    Who ascended to the highest,

    His name is Ahmed.

  13. صلوا عليه في الملا

    مَن صلى عليه يسعدْ

    Bless him in the open,

    Whoever blesses him is felicitous.

  14. النومْ عني نفرْ

    من شدةِ البينِ

    Sleep has fled from me,

    Due to the intensity of separation.

  15. محبوبُ قلبي هجر

    ما كان ذا ظني

    The beloved of my heart abandoned me,

    Something I never suspected.

  16. وارضوا عن الصديقْ

    صاحبْ رسول الله

    And be pleased with the truthful one,

    The companion of the Messenger of God,

  17. وصاحبِ التحقيقْ

    عمرْ حبيبِ الله

    And the companion of realization,

    Umar, the beloved of God.

  18. ومن نجا من الضيقْ

    جامع كلام الله

    And whoever survived from distress,

    The compiler of the words of God,

  19. وصاحبِ التدقيقْ

    عليّ بن عبد الله

    And the companion of scrutiny,

    Ali ibn Abdallah.

  20. النومُ عني نفرْ

    من شده البينِ

    Sleep has fled from me,

    Due to the intensity of separation.

  21. محبوب قلبي هجرْ

    ما كان ذا ظني

    The beloved of my heart abandoned me,

    Something I never suspected.
