إِسْمَعُوا ذِي الحقيقهْ

يا جميعْ مَن يسمع

يا جميعْ مَن يسمع

Listen to this truth,

Listen to the truth

O all who hear!

All who can hear

إِنَّ عِلْمَ الحقيقه

إِنَّ عِلْمَ الحقيقه

نُورْ وبالحقِّ يَصْدَع

نُورْ وبالحقِّ يَصْدَع

Indeed, knowledge of the truth

Knowledge of truth

is light and openly proclaims the truth.

Is light and with truth does prevail

قالَ عِلمُ الحقيقه

قالَ عِلمُ الحقيقه

أنا أُسُّ الشَّرِيعهْ

أنا أُسُّ الشَّرِيعهْ

Knowledge of the truth said:

Said the knowledge of truth

I am the foundation of the sacred law.

I am the foundation of law

مَنْ تبِعْها سيَلقَى

مَنْ تبِعْها سيَلقَى

مِنِّي أدراجْ رَفيعَه

مِنِّي أدراجْ رَفيعَه

Whoever follows it will receive

Whoever follows it will attain

lofty ranks from me.

High ascents from me

والمخالفْ سيَشْقَى

والمخالفْ سيَشْقَى

ويَرْكب أهْوال شنيعَه

ويَرْكب أهْوال شنيعَه

And the disobedient one will suffer

And whoever opposes it will suffer

and ride into hideous terrors

And face terrible horrors

في بُحُورِ غريقهْ

في بُحُورِ غريقهْ

إِن غَرِقْ ليْسَ يَطْلع

إِن غَرِقْ ليْسَ يَطْلع

in deep seas;

In oceans of drowning

if he drowns, he will not resurface.

If drowned, cannot emerge

إِنَّ عِلْمَ الحقيقه

إِنَّ عِلْمَ الحقيقه

نُور وبالحقِّ يَصْدَع

نُور وبالحقِّ يَصْدَع

Indeed, knowledge of the truth

is light and openly proclaims the truth.

Is light and with truth does prevail

جِي نقُل لكْ حِكايَه

جِي نقُل لكْ حِكايَه

وافْهم إِنْ كُنتَ تفْهم

وافْهم إِنْ كُنتَ تفْهم

Come, let me tell you a tale,

Come we tell you a story

and understand, if you can understand.

And understand if you can understand

حالُ أهْلِ الوَلايَهْ

حالُ أهْلِ الوَلايَهْ

حال مُصحَّحْ مُحكَّم

حال مُصحَّحْ مُحكَّم

The state of the saints

The state of the saints

is a sound, firmly established state.

The state of the corrected confirmed

إِنَّ في الخِضْرِ آيهْ

إِنَّ في الخِضْرِ آيهْ

والنَّبيّ المَكلَّم

والنَّبيّ المَكلَّم

Indeed, in al-Khidr there is a sign,

Indeed in Al-Khidr is a lesson

and in the prophet who was spoken to.

And the speaking prophet

كُلُّهُم لو طرِيقه

كُلُّهُم لو طرِيقه

والْتَفُوا عِندَ مجْمَعَ

والْتَفُوا عِندَ مجْمَعَ

Each of them has a path,

All have a path

and they gathered at a meeting place.

And met at an assembly

إِنَّ عِلْمَ الحقيقه

إِنَّ عِلْمَ الحقيقه

نُور وبالحقِّ يصتْدَع

نُور وبالحقِّ يصتْدَع

Indeed, knowledge of the truth

Knowledge of truth

is light and openly proclaims the truth.

Is light and with truth does prevail

إِفْهَمُوا ذِي المقاصد

إِفْهَمُوا ذِي المقاصد

يا أُهَيْلَ الإرادهْ

يا أُهَيْلَ الإرادهْ

Understand these aims,

Understand o people of purpose

O dear aspirants!

O family of will

إِنَّ مِن ظَلّ قاعِد

إِنَّ مِن ظَلّ قاعِد

كَيْفَ تَكُنْ لُوسِيادَهْ

كَيْفَ تَكُنْ لُوسِيادَهْ

Indeed, whoever remains seated—

That one who sits idle

how can mastery be his?

How can he become a leader

السُّعُود لِلْمُجاهِد

السُّعُود لِلْمُجاهِد

ولهُ الحزْقُ عادَهْ

ولهُ الحزْقُ عادَهْ

Good fortune belongs to the striver,

Triumph is for the striving

and strenuous effort is his habit.

And for him is habitual provision

والمعاني الرِّشيقهْ

والمعاني الرِّشيقهْ

وهْوَ أرْشَقْ وأبْدَع

وهْوَ أرْشَقْ وأبْدَع

And graceful meanings are his,

And sublime meanings

and he is more graceful and more wondrous.

It is most eloquent and creative

إِنَّ عِلْمَ الحقيقهْ

إِنَّ عِلْمَ الحقيقهْ

نُورْ وبالحقِّ يَصْدَع

نُورْ وبالحقِّ يَصْدَع

Indeed, knowledge of the truth

Knowledge of truth

is light and openly proclaims the truth.

Is light and with truth does prevail

يا مُريدين جُدُّوا

يا مُريدين جُدُّوا

وافهمُوا ذِي الأشايِرْ

وافهمُوا ذِي الأشايِرْ

O seekers, be diligent,

O seekers be diligent

and understand these signs.

And understand the months

من غَرَسْ شَيْ يَجدُّوا

من غَرَسْ شَيْ يَجدُّوا

ويَنالُ الْبَشايرْ

ويَنالُ الْبَشايرْ

Whoever plants something will find it

Whoever plants something will reap

and receive glad tidings.

And attain good tidings

والكسَل يبْقَى وَحْدُوا

والكسَل يبْقَى وَحْدُوا

يْومَ تُبْلَى السَّرايِر

يْومَ تُبْلَى السَّرايِر

And the lazy one will remain alone

And laziness remains alone

on the day when secrets are tested,

The day the secrets are worn out

ودُمُوعُوا طلِيقَهْ

ودُمُوعُوا طلِيقَهْ

على ما كانْ ضَيَّعْ

على ما كانْ ضَيَّعْ

and his tears flow freely

And plentiful tears

over what he had squandered.

For what was wasted

إِنَّ عِلم الحقيقهْ

إِنَّ عِلم الحقيقهْ

نُور وبالحقِّ يَصْدَع

نُور وبالحقِّ يَصْدَع

Indeed, knowledge of the truth
