Renew the sandals for your feet.

Renew them—come on! You have Jarwal.

And tell Salaman, if you come to her:

let the spindle be no likeness of her.

It clothes mankind while baring its own backside,

and its lower end slips out from behind it.

    For Bujayr and his followers

are like a ewe pawing the ground as she moves along:

    فَمَرَّ عَلى حَلقِها المِغوَلُ

    she uncovered death, and it slew her unawares;

then the dagger passed across her throat.

And the last she had known was a delight:

a pool and a valley bend, lush with herbage for her.
