جَزىmay requite رَبُّهُhis Lord عَنّيon my behalf عَديَّʿAdī بِنson of حاتِمٍḤātim
جَزى رَبُّهُ عَنّي عَديَّ بِن حاتِمٍ
جَزاءَrecompense الكِلابِthe dogs العاوياتِhowling وَقَدand indeed فَعَلHe did so
جَزاءَ الكِلابِ العاوياتِ وَقَد فَعَل
May his Lord requite, on my behalf, ʿAdī—the descendants of Ḥātim—
May his Lord requite ʿAdī ibn Ḥātim on my behalf
with the recompense due howling dogs; and indeed He has done so.
