يا اِبنَ حَنيفٍ قَد أُتيتَ فانفِرِ

يا اِبنَ حَنيفٍ قَد أُتيتَ فانفِرِ

وَطاعِنِ القَومَ وَجالِد وَاصبِرِ

وَطاعِنِ القَومَ وَجالِد وَاصبِرِ

O son of Hanif, you have indeed been assailed; so march forth.

O son of Hanif, you have been summoned so set forth,

And fight the men with your spear, battle with your sword, and stand firm.

Assail the people, persevere, and be patient,

وَابرُز لَها مُستَلئِماً وَشَمِّرِ

وَابرُز لَها مُستَلئِماً وَشَمِّرِ

And go forth to face it, clad in armor, and gird yourself for action.

Come forth to meet it with determination, roll up your sleeve,
