يَعيشُ بِجَدٍّ حازِمٌ وَبَليدُ
Never fill your soul with despair, for
Do not let despair overcome the soul, for
It is by good fortune that the prudent and the dull alike live.
The resolute and unwise live by effort.

فَكُلُّ قَريبٍ لا يُنالُ بَعيدُ
Nor covet a neighbor's wealth because he is near,
Do not covet a neighbor’s wealth out of kinship,
For whatever is near but beyond reach is far away.
For no relative, however close, is beyond reach.

And entrust your affairs to God, for
It is good fortune that comes to you bearing sustenance.
Provisions for you come continuously.
