Sol 6.1

  1. تَوَسَّدَ الوردَ وقد ومال بالْـ

    ـأَجفان من عَيْنيه إِغفاءِ

    He made the roses his pillow, and already drooping were the—

    —eyelids of his eyes in light sleep.

  2. فأَشْبَهَ البَدْر إِلى جَنْبه

    سَحابةٌ في الجوّ حَمراءِ

    So he resembled the full moon, with beside it

    a red cloud in the sky.
