The coast is pleasant, and pleasant the breeze of Shawah

Among Qatif's fish, none tastes good but it.

Nothing compares to its fish, nothing else

فإذا دعا داعي الجواف وطفله

فإذا دعا داعي الجواف وطفله

في حجره شوقاً إليه رماه

في حجره شوقاً إليه رماه

So when the jawaf-seller calls, even with his child

So when the young caller calls out, longing for it

in his lap, he flings him aside, yearning for it.
