O driver of lean, full-grown, towering camels,
O driver of the lean, mighty, and mature camels,
who crosses the wastes with a heart ravaged by longing,
Traversing the wasteland with a heart devoured by longing,

مِنْ عِلْمِهِ اللُّدْنِيِّ أَيَّ قَامُوسِ
that imam—the minds of humankind have swum
That Imam—the intellects of all mankind have swum
in his divinely bestowed knowledge: what an ocean!
Through the boundless oceans of his divine and esoteric knowledge.
وَقُلْand say لَهُto him قَوْلَthe words of مَبْهُوتٍone awestruck بِطَلْعَتِهِby his countenance
وَقُلْ لَهُ قَوْلَ مَبْهُوتٍ بِطَلْعَتِهِ
يَاO وَارِثاًinheritor of وَحْدَهُhe alone مَعَارِفَthe branches of learning of الطُّوسِيal-Tusi
يَا وَارِثاً وَحْدَهُ مَعَارِفَ الطُّوسِي
And say to him, as one awestruck by his countenance:
And speak to him with the words of one utterly dazzled by his countenance:
O sole heir to al-Tusi's learning,
"O you who alone has inherited the profound knowledge of al-Tusi!
إِنَّindeed ابْنَson of زَاكُورَZakur وَهْوَand he is الْمُحْتَمِيthe one seeking refuge بِكُمُin you

مُذْ سِرْتُمُ بِالنَّعِيمِ فِي لَظَى الْبُوسِ
indeed Ibn Zakur, who seeks refuge in you,
Indeed, Ibn Zakour, who continually seeks refuge in you,
since you departed taking bliss with you, has been in misery's blaze.
Since you departed with all bliss, dwells in the blazing fire of misery."

And beg of him a righteous prayer for me,
And earnestly beg him for a righteous supplication on my behalf,
that through it all my buried guidance may live again.
Through which every buried fragment of my guidance may be brought back to life.
