لَبِسَdonned الأَصِيلُthe late afternoon مُلاَءَةًa mantle مُوشِيَّةًembroidered
لَبِسَ الأَصِيلُ مُلاَءَةً مُوشِيَّةً
بِنُضَارِهِwith its gold وَزُمُرُّدِand the emerald of الأَوْرَاقِthe leaves
بِنُضَارِهِ وَزُمُرُّدِ الأَوْرَاقِ
Late afternoon donned an embroidered mantle,
The noble one wore a dark green cloak
The late afternoon has donned an embroidered mantle,
With its gold and the emerald of the leaves.
With his freshness and emerald leaves
Woven with its pure gold and the emerald of the leaves,
وَوَشَىand divulged النَّسِيمُthe breeze بِسِرِّwith the secret of أَزْهَارِthe blossoms of الرُّبَىthe hills
وَوَشَى النَّسِيمُ بِسِرِّ أَزْهَارِ الرُّبَى
هَلْare there? مِنْany كُؤُوسِcups of مَسَرَّةٍjoy يَاO سَاقِcupbearer
هَلْ مِنْ كُؤُوسِ مَسَرَّةٍ يَا سَاقِ
And the breeze divulged the secret of the hills’ blossoms.
And the breeze whispered the secret of the meadow's flowers
And the breeze has betrayed the secret of the hillside blossoms;
Are there any cups of joy, O cupbearer?
Are there any cups of joy, oh branch?
Are there any goblets of joy, O cupbearer?
