Indeed, distress has touched me, and You are the All-Knowing.

And grief has sickened me, and You are the Judge.

And I have sought refuge, while humiliation assails me,

at the gate of Your bounty, to which I cling.

So do not turn me away, for I am distraught.

Your pardon, O my Lord: indeed, I am a wrongdoer.

Your forgiveness, O God: indeed, I am a sinner.

Your mercy, O All-Merciful: indeed, I am remorseful.
