I was created aloof in spirit, gathering nothing
I was created with a dignified soul, gathering no harvest
But what honor plants; thus my way is foolhardy.
Save the seeds of honor, rendering my worldly habits inept.
أكُفُّI restrain أَكُفِّيmy palms عَنْfrom تِلاَدِيmy inherited wealth تَقَذُّراًout of disgust

I keep my palms from my inherited wealth, in disgust
I withhold my hands from my own wealth in pure disgust,
At it, if the palms of a base man's two hands draw near it.
Should the palms of a base man ever draw near to it.
