وَآبَand returned بِالْحِرْمَانِwith deprivation عَبْدُكَYour servant الدَّنِيthe lowly
I have become needy, O our God, the Self-Sufficient.
I have become impoverished, O our Self-Sufficient God,
And Your lowly servant has returned empty-handed.
And Your lowly servant has returned empty-handed,
وَلَمْand did not أَجِدْI find مِنْany (emphatic) أَحَدٍperson بِيfor me يَعْتَنِيcares
سِوَاكَother than You يَاO رَبِّmy Lord فَكُنْso be لِيfor me أَغْتَنِيI may become free of need
And I have found no one to care for me
And I have found no one to care for me,
Except You, O my Lord; be my help, that I may want for nothing.
Save You, O Lord; so be with me, that I may be enriched.
