هَلُمُّوا يَا بَنِي الْحَاجِ

هَلُمُّوا يَا بَنِي الْحَاجِ

إِلَى مَثْوَى أَبِي حَاجِ

إِلَى مَثْوَى أَبِي حَاجِ

Come, O sons of al-Haj,

Come my sons of pilgrimage

Come forth, O sons of Al-Hajj,

to the resting place of Abu Haj,

To the dwelling of my father, Hajj

To the resting place of Abu Hajj,

أَبِي الْحَاجَاتِ مُعْطِيهَا

أَبِي الْحَاجَاتِ مُعْطِيهَا

لِمُعْتَزٍّ وَمُحْتَاجِ

لِمُعْتَزٍّ وَمُحْتَاجِ

the father of needs, who fulfills them,

My father, the giver of needs

The father of needs, who grants them

for the proud and the needy,

To the desperate and the needy

To both the honored and the destitute,

وَمَلْهُوفِ وَمَوْصُوفِ

وَمَلْهُوفِ وَمَوْصُوفِ

بِإِحْرَاجِ وَإِزْعَاجِ

بِإِحْرَاجِ وَإِزْعَاجِ

and the distressed, and one marked

To the anxious and described

And the distressed, and the one beset

by hardship and disturbance,

With distress and irritation

By profound hardship and turmoil,

وَإِقْلاَقٍ لإِخْفًاق

وَإِقْلاَقٍ لإِخْفًاق

وَإِنْتَاجِ لِإِرْتَاجِ

وَإِنْتَاجِ لِإِرْتَاجِ

and anxiety over failure,

And worry of failing

And anxiety born of failure,

and production leading to deadlock.

And productivity of shaking

And yielding fruit from a locked impasse.

ضمِنْتُ الْفُلْجَ بِالمَْرْجُ

ضمِنْتُ الْفُلْجَ بِالمَْرْجُ

وِّ مِنها للشَّجِ الرَّاجِ

وِّ مِنها للشَّجِ الرَّاجِ

I have guaranteed success in what is hoped

I have contained the ships with harbor

I guarantee success in what is hoped

for from them, for the grieving one who hopes.

From it for the prominent fugitive

Of these needs, for the grieving supplicant.

وَلَيْسَ الْخُبْرُ كَالإِخْبَا

وَلَيْسَ الْخُبْرُ كَالإِخْبَا

رِ فَاخْبُرْ فَيْضَ عَجَّاجِ

رِ فَاخْبُرْ فَيْضَ عَجَّاجِ

And firsthand experience is not like hear-

And news is not like telling

For firsthand experience is not like being

say; so experience Ajjaj's outpouring.

So tell the abundance of tumult

Told, so test the flood of this roaring sea.
