بشتمwith abuse إذاwhen باتhe spends the night يصلىbeing scorched بهby it
بشتم إذا بات يصلى به
توهَّمhe imagines أنِّيَthat I حرَّقتُهُhave burned him
توهَّم أنِّيَ حرَّقتُهُ
with abuse; when he spends the night scorched by it,
With abuse—when he spends the night scorched by it,
he imagines that I have burned him.
