تسدِّي الفتى الأقدار من حيث لا يرى

ويخطئه مظنونها ومخوفُها

ويخطئه مظنونها ومخوفُها

The fates steer the young man from where he cannot see,

Fate strikes down the young man from where he cannot see,

And what he expects and fears of them passes him by.

And what he suspects of it and fears of it fail him.
