نفائسُ ماله أدناه مجنىً

من الأيدي جميعاً والأماني

The choicest of his wealth lies nearest for the picking

Roses of his wealth are brought down low

To all hands and hopes alike.

Beyond all hands and every wish's reach

كذاك قواعدُ الثمراتِ تدنو

كذاك قواعدُ الثمراتِ تدنو

مجانيها فتُمْكِنُ كل جاني

مجانيها فتُمْكِنُ كل جاني

So too, the fruit-bearing boughs have close at hand

So too the fruits' foundations nearer grow

Their harvests, giving every picker access.

Freely to place themselves in plunderers' breach
