نفحاتُ وانيةِ الهُبوب حسيرِ
So her wafts of fragrance after slumber seemed
The wafts of a wind, slow-blowing and spent.
قالتshe/it said مُعَرَّسُناour night-halt بآخرِwith the last of مُنَّةٍstrength
قالت مُعَرَّسُنا بآخرِ مُنَّةٍ
تُزجيgently drives لطيمَةَa perfume-laden caravan عازبٍa far-off pasture مَمْطورِrain-soaked
تُزجي لطيمَةَ عازبٍ مَمْطورِ
It said, with its last strength, ‘Our night-halt is here,’
