O sons of Tahir, you are pure and good,
O sons of purity, you are purified and wholesome,
and you are virtuous—your branches and roots alike.
Your branches and roots are purified,
جارُكمyour neighbor مَحْرٌمprotected; inviolable وأعراضُكمand your honor بَسْinviolable (first part of بَسْلٌ)
لٌinviolable (completion of بَسْلٌ) ولكنَّand yet مالَكمُyour wealth مبذولُfreely given
Your neighbor is protected, and your honor inviolable,
Your neighbor is inviolable, and your integrity intact,
yet your wealth is freely given.
Your wealth is offered though not forced upon others,
كادnearly يُكدِيhardens بطونَinner surfaces of أيديكمُyour hands البَذْgiving (first part of البَذْلُ)
لُgiving (completion of البَذْلُ) ويُحفِيand wears bare ظهورَهاtheir backs التقبيلُkissing
Giving has nearly calloused the palms of your hands,
Your generosity almost exhausts your hands,
and kissing wears their backs bare.
While your backs are clothed with kisses.
