ولاهُ بعدَ وسميٍّ وَليُّ
It is as though her breeze were lavender's fragrance,
Her breeze is like sweet basil's scent,
Nurtured by a following shower after the first autumn rain;
After a long absence, she's heaven-sent.

لأفنانِ الجِنان لها نَجِيُّ
A gift from a north wind that blew by night,
A northern wind's gift in the night,
With which the garden boughs hold secret converse.
To the gardens' blossoms, a sheer delight.

When her breaths waft shortly before dawn,
When her breaths blow magic in the dark,
The carefree sighs for her like the sorrowful.
The streams inhale her essence, hark!
