Indeed, your two hands are a lock,

Tightly secured, O son of Jurāshah.

For the lock's bolt is your right

Hand, and your left its hasp.

No copper coin escapes from your

Two hands save with a last flicker of life.

    Such is every base man

Whose very bones baseness has permeated:

    Narrow of breast and miserly—

    May God straiten his livelihood,

And clothe him in fear and

Humiliation, and strip him of his finery.
