كل الهدايا قد رأيت صنوفها

I have seen every kind of gift,

I've seen all kinds of gifts, their every type,

Except speech, which holds what has not been heard.

Except for words, within them what's not heard.

فجعلت إهدائي إليك مدائحاً

فجعلت إهدائي إليك مدائحاً

مثل الرياض من الكلام المبدع

مثل الرياض من الكلام المبدع

So I made my offering to you poems of praise,

So my gift to you is praises sung,

Like gardens of artfully crafted words.

Like gardens made of finely crafted words.
