I have found the friends in our age,

For all their outward affection, save a few,

Slow to aid whoever seeks their help,

Until he is left a devoured carcass.

And if they rally once for a brother,

They lord it over him with burdensome presumption.

So never seek refuge in their aid,

And be a submissive back beneath oppression.
