شوقاً وشوقاً للحديثِ إليكا

Do not ever forget them, for they have

Longing upon longing to speak to you.

Long and yearn to speak with you.

وكأنني بهمُ لديك وإنّما

شمسُ النهارِ بهم هناك لديكا

And I can almost see them beside you; indeed,

I see them with you now; the sun

In them, the sun of day is there beside you.

Of day is with them, there with you.

ولقد ملأتَ يديهِمُ بِكَ غِبطةً

ولقد ملأتَ بهم كذاك يديكا

ولقد ملأتَ بهم كذاك يديكا

And indeed, you have filled their hands with yourself, to their delight,
