عم في الثوب الرقيقِ

عم في الثوب الرقيقِ

And the soft body showing through

The delicate body's curves beneath the diaphanous robe,

the thin garment,

And fragrance like fire

ورحيقٌ كحريقٍ

ورحيقٌ كحريقٍ

في أباريق عقيقِ

في أباريق عقيقِ

And pure wine like a blaze

In translucent flasks,

in pitchers of agate.

This, from my cheeks' roses,

إن ذا من ورد خدَّي

إن ذا من ورد خدَّي

كِ لِصبَّاغٍ رفيقِ

كِ لِصبَّاغٍ رفيقِ

Indeed, this, from the roses of your cheeks,

Is as a gentle dyer's,

is for a skillful dyer.
