قالوا لقد صار في مُهذّبكم

قالوا لقد صار في مُهذّبكم

شيءٌ به الآن شاعَ في بلدِهْ

something for which he is now widely known in his town.

يفعلُ في جوفِ

فعلَ سواهُ تلذّذاً بيدِهْ

فقلتُ يا قومُ عنهُ معتذراً
