قادَ وقادَ السودَ نحوَ

فهُمْ على الغارِ لهُمْ غارَهْ

فهُمْ على الغارِ لهُمْ غارَهْ

He led, and led the black ones toward—

He led the black men onwards

So they are at the cave, with a raid of their own.

As they ascended the mountain pass

فانظُرْ الى القَرْنِ على رأسِه

كأنه في أسفلِ الحارَهْ

So look at the horn on his head,
