تشبهت بالغدران والروض حولها

فأصبحت ملهى الناظر المتوسم

فأصبحت ملهى الناظر المتوسم

You resembled pools with gardens around them.

I have made it resemble the meadows, and a garden all around,

So you became a delight for the discerning viewer.

So it has become a pleasure ground for the beholder to wander at will.

وأنبتّ بالتطعيم أشجار فضة

وأنبتّ بالتطعيم أشجار فضة

ومن أحسن الأشجار كلّ مطعّم

ومن أحسن الأشجار كلّ مطعّم

And through inlaying you made trees of silver grow.

And I have planted, by grafting, trees of silver,

And every grafted tree is among the finest.

And of all grafted trees, the most beautiful.
