ه ولا زال للسعود يحوز

ه ولا زال للسعود يحوز

What does His Excellency say—may God strengthen him,

What the abode says, may God support it

and may he ever attain good fortune—

And it still belongs to Saud, possessing

في وليّ ببابه ترك الخ

في وليّ ببابه ترك الخ

لق ووافى يجوز أم لا يجوز

لق ووافى يجوز أم لا يجوز

of a saint at his gate who forsook creation

A guardian at its door who abandoned creation

and arrived: may he pass, or may he not?

And came to pass, does he allow or not allow?
