خير عيدٍ بكلِّ خيرٍ يعود

خير عيدٍ بكلِّ خيرٍ يعود

لك يا من لقاه للعيد عيد

لك يا من لقاه للعيد عيد

The finest feast returns with every blessing

May every goodness return with every feast,

To you, O you whose meeting is a feast for the feast.

For you, O one whose meeting is a feast for feasts.

قمْ لنحرِ العدى ونحر العطايا

قمْ لنحرِ العدى ونحر العطايا

وابقَ تسعى إلى حماكَ الوفود

وابقَ تسعى إلى حماكَ الوفود

Rise to slaughter foes and sacrifice gifts,

Arise to slay the enemies and slay the gifts,

And live on, while delegations hasten to your sanctuary.

And remain striving towards protecting your crowds.

وعِدى الفضل ناقصون ولكن

وعِدى الفضل ناقصون ولكن

نحرهم جائز الضحايا مفيد

نحرهم جائز الضحايا مفيد

And the enemies of excellence are deficient, yet

My enemies are incomplete in virtue, but

Their slaughter is lawful as sacrifice, and beneficial.

Slaughtering them is beneficial like sacrifices.

يا إماماً له علومٌ وجدْوى

يا إماماً له علومٌ وجدْوى

كاملٌ بحرها سريعٌ مديد

كاملٌ بحرها سريعٌ مديد

O imam, endowed with learning and bounty,

O Imam whose knowledge and wisdom

Perfect is their sea, swift and far-reaching.

Are perfect, an ocean vast and extensive.

وجواداً لا عيبَ فيهِ سوى نع

وجواداً لا عيبَ فيهِ سوى نع

مى تعيد الأحرارَ وهي عبيد

مى تعيد الأحرارَ وهي عبيد

And a generous man, with no fault save boun-

And generous, his only flaw being the days

ty that sends free men back as slaves.

Of freedom repeating while they are slaves.

لا عدمنا أطواق نعماك فيها

لا عدمنا أطواق نعماك فيها

كلّ وقتٍ بمدحِك التغريد

كلّ وقتٍ بمدحِك التغريد

May we never lack the collars of your bounty, in which

May we not lack your favors wherein

There is birdsong in your praise at every moment.

Every time we praise you with singing.

كلنا في محبَّة ابن عليّ

كلنا في محبَّة ابن عليّ

يتوالى والجود منه يزيد

يتوالى والجود منه يزيد

All of us, in love for Ibn Ali,

We are all in the love of the son of Ali

Follow one another, while his generosity grows.

Successively, as his generosity increases.
