نشرت لك الأعراب فيما طويته

نشرت لك الأعراب فيما طويته

من الودِّ يا أوفى الأنام ذماما

من الودِّ يا أوفى الأنام ذماما

The Bedouins have spread word to you concerning what I folded away

The Bedouins spread for you, in what they folded,

Of affection, O most faithful of humankind in keeping pledges.

Of affection, O most faithful of mankind, a bond.

وأمسكت من ودي لعلياك عروةً

وأمسكت من ودي لعلياك عروةً

وأهديت للطرف الكريم حزاما

وأهديت للطرف الكريم حزاما

And I have grasped a loop of my affection for your eminence,

And I held back from my affection for you a tie,

And presented the noble steed with a girth.

And gifted to the generous one a belt.
