شكراً تقيّ الدين للمنن التي

رفعت على حامي حماك ظلالها

رفعت على حامي حماك ظلالها

Thanks Taki al-Din for the favors that

Raised their shade over the guardian of your domain.

Raised over the protector of your sanctuary their shadows

لله أنت فقد وصلت إلى مدىً

لله أنت فقد وصلت إلى مدىً

في الفضلِ أعيى السائدين مثالها

في الفضلِ أعيى السائدين مثالها

God bless you! You have reached a height

You are for God, you have reached an extent

In excellence whose equal has eluded the foremost.

In grace that exhausted the masters an example

وغدوت مثل خالك في الورَى

وغدوت مثل خالك في الورَى

يا حبَّذا وجه الأنام وخالها

يا حبَّذا وجه الأنام وخالها

And you have become like your maternal uncle among mankind—

And you became like your uncle in creation

Ah, how lovely are mankind’s face and its beauty mark!

Oh most beloved of mankind and its uncle
