يا علويّ الذكر كم نعمة

يا علويّ الذكر كم نعمة

إليَّ من بابك مهديَّه

إليَّ من بابك مهديَّه

O you of lofty renown, how many a blessing

O exalted in mention, how many blessings

Has been sent to me from your door!

Have come to me from your door, freely given

إن لم يكن في الدست حظِّي فلي

إن لم يكن في الدست حظِّي فلي

من جودِكَ الراتب زبديَّه

من جودِكَ الراتب زبديَّه

If I have no share in the cauldron, then let me have

If fate has not granted me my allotted share

A bowl from your constant bounty.

Then let me have, through your bounty, sustenance
