دعا حسنه أهل الصلاة لقصدِهِ

فلا غَرْوَ إن جاء المصلّيَ سابقا

Its beauty summoned the people of prayer to make their way to it;

Its beauty called worshippers to seek it out,

No wonder, then, that the muṣallī—the worshipper, the race’s runner-up—came in first.

so no wonder if the worshipper comes first.
