My lord, rise to lofty honors;

My Master, rise to the heights

For the foes, there is downfall.

For the enemies have fallen low

Far be it that any supplicant's hope

Far be it that any friend

Should be overtaken by despair.

Should fall into despair

How much frailty of circumstance and heart

However weak the state and heart

Is bound to a double share from you.

With your weakness it is endowed

The witnesses to your eminence are blazing stars;

Witnesses to you are stars

And in any other eminence, there is downfall.

And besides them is decline
