رعى الله من جاورت في مصر بابه

فقابلني بالمالِ والجاهِ والودّ

فقابلني بالمالِ والجاهِ والودّ

May God watch over him whose door I dwelt beside in Egypt;

May God tend to him whose door in Egypt I visited,

And he welcomed me with wealth, influence, and affection.

Who welcomed me with wealth and status and affection.

هو العلم الفرد الذي شاع فضلُه

هو العلم الفرد الذي شاع فضلُه

فبشراكمُ يا جيرةَ العلم الفرد

فبشراكمُ يا جيرةَ العلم الفرد

He is the peerless luminary whose excellence has become widely known;

He is the peerless knowledge whose merit spread wide,

So glad tidings to you, O neighbors of the peerless luminary!

So blessings upon you, O neighbor of peerless knowledge!
