Of satiety or quenched thirst that heightened delight.

Of a fullness or flow that increased its bliss

كأنك لم تكن من ذا وهذا

كأنك لم تكن من ذا وهذا

أكلت أوزَّةً وشربت بطه

أكلت أوزَّةً وشربت بطه

As though you had not, of this and that,

As if you were not part of this one and that

Eaten a goose and drained a duck-shaped flask.

You have eaten an oz and drunk a duck
