I sacrifice myself for the dew and the vast sea of knowledge,
If rain clouds vie with his bounty, they court peril.
When its generosity overflows, it leaves one dazzled.

You clothed your servant in a mantle of glory,
It adorns the servant with a cloak of earthenware,
Silken, finely wrought for the heights of honor.
Silken, embroidered with the most sublime insights.

The composition of its meaning and words are most eloquent,
So, O God, what a finely wrought mantle!
What an exquisite cloak it is!
