I would give my life for our king of the house of Ayyub,
I would ransom the one from Ayyub's family who was a king for us
who walked a clear path, moved by the loftiest virtues.
Who trod the lofty virtues in new ways
حدثتI told عنof فضلهhis excellence ثمthen استندتI relied لهon him

فلا عدمت أسانيدي ولا سندي
I told of his excellence, then relied on him;
When I recounted his merit then relied on him
so may I never lose my chains of transmission or my support.
I found neither my supports nor my reliance lacking
