For you, before that of the nesting doves.
Upon you, before the doves of eternity.

And your people are but bright stars of guidance;
Your people are comets of guidance,
They seek the reward that comes from their patience.
Seeking reward for their patience.

Patience, O Ansar's sons, from a planet
For whom the eyelids have stayed awake in longing.
That eyelids have stayed up nightlong yearning for it.

A branch of knowledge in growing up wellbred
That died by water, unlike other boughs.
That died of thirst unlike other branches.

Alas for that crescent moon for whom
Yearning for that crescent to which
The clouds tore their robes of gloom.
The clouds split their clothes of darkness.

Time overtook him with the vicissitudes of death.
Whose youth was cut short by passing away.

And they were drained over lofty honor, in the two states
I was angry at the noble ones in my state
Of wrath and ebbing, and overflowed with sorrows.
Of anger, wrath, and I ranted from passions.

All this, although our reunion
That being so, the meeting between us

To us, then we are coming to them.
We'll go to them, being the firstcomers.

Consolation for our lord, and his submission;
Condolences to our Master and his greetings -
For every calamity that has spared him is light.
All sorrows, next to it, are slight.

No eyes in the world have been heated
Than you appeared, and eyes grew cool.
Until they shone and dimmed eyes.

Who find their way to the heights by the star.
To the Most High, by the stars they find guidance.
