  1. هنئت بالصوم السعي

    د وألف صوم بعده

    Congratulations on the happy fast,

    and a thousand fasts thereafter,

  2. في نعمة وسيادة

    تسع الوَليَّ وضده

    in prosperity and lordship

    embracing friend and foe.

  3. هذا يفطر فاه أو

    هذا يفطر كبده

    This one feeds his mouth, or

    that one rends his liver.
