قاضي القضاة عليّها وتقيّها

ما لي على خلق سواك معوّل

ما لي على خلق سواك معوّل

Chief of judges, their exalted Ali and their pious Taqi,

O Judge of judges, may He protect and guard her

I rely on no creature but you.

I have no one to rely on except You

سبق اعتناؤك في نوالك لي فما

سبق اعتناؤك في نوالك لي فما

أنفكّ في هذا وذا أتأمّل

أنفكّ في هذا وذا أتأمّل

Your care came first in your bounty to me, so I do not

Your care for me in granting me success preceded me, so

Cease to ponder this and that.

I do not cease contemplating this and that

فمن الحوالة لي ربيع آخر

فمن الحوالة لي ربيع آخر

ومن المواهب لي ربيع أول

ومن المواهب لي ربيع أول

So from the payment order I have a later spring,

So for me is another spring from Your favors

And from the gifts I have a first spring.

And from Your gifts is an early spring

لا زلت ذا فضلٍ يطلّ على الورَى

لا زلت ذا فضلٍ يطلّ على الورَى

وعلى الكواكب من عليّ ومن علُ

وعلى الكواكب من عليّ ومن علُ

May you ever possess bounty that towers over humankind,

You still have endless favor that shines on mankind

And over the stars—from Ali and from on high.

And above the stars, from Ali and from A'la
