ومخدومةand a mistress أتبعتI followed مدحpraise of نبيهاher Prophet
ومخدومة أتبعت مدح نبيها
بخادمةwith a handmaid أتبعتهاI followed her بوليِّهاwith her guardian
بخادمة أتبعتها بوليِّها
And for a lady served, I followed praise of her Prophet
And a mistress—I followed the praise of her Prophet
with a serving-maid, then followed her with her saintly guardian.

لعلَّكperhaps you ياO جاهstanding of الشفيعthe intercessor محمدMuhammad
لعلَّك يا جاه الشفيع محمد
توصِّيyou commend بهاconcerning her عطفcompassion of الوصيِّthe legatee عليّهاher Ali
توصِّي بها عطف الوصيِّ عليّها
Perhaps—O exalted station of Muhammad the Intercessor—
May you, O standing of Muhammad the intercessor,
you will, through her, bring me to the Legatee’s favor toward her.
commend her to the compassion of the legatee, her Ali.
