والملك نعم القصد والحركات

And al-Saʿdī’s dawnings are on the horizon of exalted heights;

And al-Saʿdī’s ascendants lie on the horizon of eminence

And the king—how excellent his intention and his actions!

and kingship—how fine the aim and movements!

من حيث يرقم إسمه وفعالهُ

Wherever his name and his deeds are inscribed,
