عيدٌ تعود بالهناء سعوده

فتهنّه في غبطة ودوام

A festival whose good fortunes return with joy—

A celebration returns with its prosperity

so enjoy it in bliss, evermore.

Bringing joy in felicity and permanence

وانحر بصحبته الضحايا والعدى

وانحر بصحبته الضحايا والعدى

فالكلّ معدود من الأنعام

فالكلّ معدود من الأنعام

And slaughter, in its company, sacrificial beasts and foes,

And the victims and enemies bow in its company

for all are counted among the livestock.

For all are counted among the blessings
