Your love has proved true, and yet I

My love for you has faded, but still

marvel at a separation decreed for us.

I wonder at a separation fate decrees.

كَأَنَّنا في فَلَكٍ دائِرٍ

كَأَنَّنا في فَلَكٍ دائِرٍ

فَأَنتَ تَخفى وَأَنا أَظهَرُ

فَأَنتَ تَخفى وَأَنا أَظهَرُ

It is as though we are in a revolving celestial sphere:

As if we're in an endless orbit -

so you disappear, and I appear.
